Ghanaian Actor Joseph Hergurson Seeks Rehab After Revealing Drug Abuse Ordeal

 

Joseph Hergurson, a budding Ghanaian actor has disclosed in a recent interview his battle with cocaine and other hard drugs addiction that has left him in a devastated state over the last two years.

The actor has been the topic of discussion on various social media platforms as a result of his interview with Adwene Media that surfaced online a few days ago. According to the actor, he engaged in the abuse of hard drugs to grant him an escape from his financial woes.

Joseph played the role of 'Danny'  in Ivan Quarshiga’s popular Stryke TV Series which gained him some amount of social currency.

“In 2022 to 2023, things became difficult financially and instead of me wising up and standing on my ground, I saw drugs to be a remedy to it” he said.

Hergurson also admitted to how bad the drugs have dented his brand and his whole well-being as a human being. His formerly fair skin has become much darker and looks like a complete shadow of his former self.

Joseph revealed also that he would seek rehabilitation right after the interview was done.

He has featured in movies such as like Perfect Picture 2, Yelo Pepe, and Age 18.
